PROTECTIVE STYLING FOR SENIOR WOMEN

Image
A lot of women take a break from the  constant flat ironing, the hot curling,  and styling of their hair during the fall and winter months. They use protective methods to give their  hair a rest from  the daily tugging and pulling on their  hair. Some women have heat damage,  split ends and hair breakage.  I started using protective methods for my hair  2 years ago. I wear wigs, updos, head wraps, and hats during the fall and winter months. I  don't use the protective method as an excuse to stop caring for my hair. My hair is washed  and conditioned and regularly. I do intensive scalp treatment once a month. I just protect  my hair from a lot of heat and manipulation. My hair responds to my protection, therefore, I continued with this regimen yearly. I'm going to show images of protective  methods in the coming weeks. This will  include head wraps, hats, braids, and  wigs I wear during the fall and winter.  I'll have tutorials for the tying

SENIOR WOMEN SHOE QUEST, DRESS SHOES

Image
I finally came to grips with the fact that I could no longer wear high heeled pumps. I was not a  twenty something that had to endure foot pain  too look fashionable!  I was determined to find  some low heeled comfortable pretty shoes to  wear to church and special occasions. I had to visit shoe outlets, malls, and department stores.  My online shopping for these shoes was tricky  since my shoe range was size 8 to 9 depending on the style and brand. The shoes I am sharing seem to answer my prayer for comfort and style.

SENIOR WOMEN'S SHOE QUEST! WINTER

I am past the age that I want to endure pain to look fashionable. As you age you need a good arch and  comfortable low heeled shoes. It took a lot of shopping online, at shoe outlets, and at  malls to find shoes that fit this bill.  I could not  figure out if the shape of my foot had changed or shoe manufacturers had altered the sizing of  their shoes.  I discovered that clogs and mules were the answer  for me during the winter.  I bought loads of pretty socks to wear with them. Here are some examples of the style of shoes I found that were comfortable and stylish for the fall and winter: CLOGS: mrshoes.com    amazon.com   TIP : Clog stores offer funky colors and patterns from flowers to polka dots.  The colorful shoes are usually on sale.    MULES:  qvc.com   www.ebay.com  belk.com FUN SOCKS : I don't pay a lot for m
