BOHO SENIOR LADY!

Image
I wasn't aware of the Boho Chic trend until I started  following Pinterest. Some  of the clothing in this trend seemed very familiar to me. I looked at some of my old  pictures and realized I wore some of these styles in the 70's. There really are no new clothing styles! Designers mix and match old style trends to make new ones.  I have seen  old clothing styles that were just renamed. A lot of colors from the 70's have also been renamed. We older ladies do recognize the originals! I'm old enough to remember when those Capri pants were called pedal pushers and clam diggers. Some girls wore hot  pants during the 70's. They were later renamed Daisy  Dukes shorts in some areas. I had on some hot pink shorts and a lady said this color was now calledfuchsia! I developed an allergy to the elastic band on my bras a few years ago.  I couldn't stand the band itchy red bumps around  my chest.  I had to come up  with any alternative under garment.  My solution was to purchase several colors of the snug fitting cotton tank tops.  I discovered that wearing one  size smaller results in less jiggle.  I couldn't use the spaghetti strap tanks due to lack of support. The camisoles with lace borders are good for my dressy attire. There are camisoles available with bras built in. I was wearing  those until I discovered that these bras have elastic bands. Here are images of some  tank tops  and camisoles I wear as alternative undergarment:   RIBBED TANK TOPS V-NECK TANK HARD TO FIND SOMETIMES  I LAYER TANK TOPS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS HOW TO WEAR TANK TOPS   CAMISOLES WITH LACE TRIM

I have done my pedicure and now I'm ready to paint those toes.  I hate to have bare fingernails and toes. I just don't feel completely dressed without colored nail polish on them.  Some ladies love chic clothes but I love nail polish. I have at least 15 bottles of polish to choose from at all times! Here are some pretty nail colors I am considering for the spring:
