CHASE AWAY THOSE CHRISTMAS BLUES!

I often hear comments from.people about regretting that its time for the Christmas season.  I have never felft this way.  I'll admit that I was sad during Christmas, the first year after my husband died. The sadness disappeared when I remembered the "Reason For The Season!".  Pondering on the Birth Of Christ was enough to bring me joy. The Bible verse 2 Corinthians 5:8 explains  that when you're absent from the body, you are present with the Lord. Just knowing my husband is with the Lord in heavenly places, brings me comfort. The " blues" that we  Seniors.have can quickly turn into depression. We face a lot of situations daily that can make us sad. My friends and I   call each.other when we are facing limited contact from our grown children, financial problems, or experiencing pain from chronic illness. We give free therapy sessions to each other  because it's cheaper.   Here are some things I do to chase away the " blues &qu
