SENIOR LADY: MOTHER'S DAY CORSAGE!

  I loved viewing florist websites as a way to relax after work. One day I saw a display of kissing balls. Some of them were round, covered in flowers. A few were even shaped like animals.  A lot of faux flower blooms,  foam,  and  glue  were required. I was inspired by the kissing ball crafts. I even made several for my  friend's tables for their rainbow tea parties. A few years later, I lost interest in the kissing balls.  I saw designs for corsages to give as gifts to people for birthdays, weddings, and proms. I discovered that corsages were nice to wear for other occasions. I could make corsages for my Mom and me to wear  during  the Easter holiday. I thought that I might make corsages for the Mothers at my church. I abandoned this idea because the names on my list of Mothers grew to over twenty. SENIOR LADY: PURPLE EASTER TREE!

I usually visit a Dollar Store weekly. My local store adds new merchandise every Monday. I wait until Tuesday to visit this store. By this time the aisles are free if clutter. The new items are on display at the front of the store.  The Easter display featured boxes of mini pastel trees. The trees is were in colors, pink, purple, and yellow, according to picture on the boxes. I quickly grabbed a purple tree.  I searched for mini ornaments. There were only multicolored mini egg ornaments in stock. Shades of purple ribbon was available. There were no mini tree skirts in stock.  Earlier in the year, fabric swatches were available.  The  store had shades of purple in bundles.  These swatches would make pretty mini tree skirts. They had  removed their fabric to make  room for Easter Decor. Mini  Easter lights were available but, I didn't  buy  them. I decided that lights and ornaments  on  this mini tree would be too dramatic. ...
