SENIOR LADY; MOTHER'S DAY ORNAMENT TREE!

I seem to be obsessed with my mini purple tree.

I purchased it during the Easter season.

This store had these mini trees in three colors:

pink, yellow, purple

Purple is my fave color, so I only grabbed one

purple tree. I regret not getting two or three

of these mini trees. The store no longer has

them in stock.   I used my purple tree for

Easter and added mini Easter ornaments

on it. I suddenly realized that I could use

the mini tree for other occasions.

I have been reviewing online catalogs

and videos. I needed to get ideas on

ways to use my mini purple tree. My

goal was to get ideas for Mother's day

gifts. My Mom has four grown children.

She's received so many gifts for Mother's

Day in the past. I'm trying to avoid giving

her the same old gifts.  I finally got a great

idea for using the mini purple tree. Here is

the details for my Mother's Day project:

 INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: I don't have printer. My templates

are hand drawn.

Cut out templates. Need 2 Angel Wings,

each: pink, red & purple.

Need 6 white hearts

Note: Make extra Angel wings & hearts

if you want ornaments all over tree.

Glue white heart in center of each Angel wing.

Use fine print marker to write name of each

child or family member on white heart.

Use ribbons to make hanger for each

ornament. Glue hanger to back of each

ornament in center area. Ornaments

are ready to be hung on the tree. I used

purple dinner napkin for tree skirt. My

topper is left over white ribbon.

This Mother's Day ornament tree looks

great. My Mom saw the finished tree.

She grabbed it and placed it on the

dining room table. I had added parents

and family member's names to the

tree. Mom only has four children.

Of course, the ornament tree needed

more than four ornaments!

TIPS:

** Any color or style table top faux mini tree

can be used. Just use matching ornaments.

** Use printer to  make the angel wings and

hearts if available.

**The angel wings & hearts can be enhanced

with Modge Podge Gloss or Acrylic Gloss Sealer.

** Mini star, heart, or angel can also be used as

tree topper. I recycled left over supplies.
