I have moved to a new location recently. I have  a  new roommate; my mother. It's time to start decorating for Christmas. We have different  ideas about what color the Christmas decor should be. She likes the traditional red and white. I love a purple Christmas theme . We agreed to compromise on the color theme. I'll put her traditional red and white colors outdoors.  I can decorate the house inside  in any color that I choose. I have to cook Christmas Dinner this year. Therefore, I'll use all of my Mom's traditional Christmas  decorations indoors this time.   I made plenty of mistakes when I chose gardening as my new hobby. I started out buying indoor plants . I bought plants that looked pretty.  Some plants died because my rooms had insufficient light or because I just forgot to water them. I didn't have a watering  schedule and didn't read the plant care tags. I took friends' advice and set some of my house plants outside. My Snake Plants and Peace Lilies flourished.  I was told to bring them inside when weather turned cold.  I did bring the plants inside after temperature dropped below forty degrees. Unfortunately, my den became a flying bugs haven. Bugs flew up my nose and crawled on my face. My nights were spent swatting those  bugs. I complained to one of my gardening friends.   ITEMS NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS T-SHIRTS: Blank Tee Shirts ( Neutral & Christmas Colors ) Christmas Theme Fat Quarters or Pre-cut Fabric Free Online, Christmas Templates, Printed: Bell, Tree, Stocking, Star, Snowman  Embellishments: Acrylic Gem Stickers, 315 Count, Christmas Colors Acrylic Gem Stickers, 315 Count, Gold, Silver, Clear Snowflakes 12 pieces  Tools: Glue Gun & Glue Sticks  Scissors Straight pins INSTRUCTIONS: Cut out printed template (using tree   template for  demonstration). I pinned    tree  on  back/ reverse side of fabric. Used  black,  thin print Sharpie to draw tree on  fabric.  I cut out three trees  for my plus  sized  tee shirt. DOVE PEACE ORNAMENT: I love making crafts for each holiday season. The Christmas holiday is my favorite.  Making  crafts depicting  Christmas trees, stockings, bells, wreaths, and snowmen  are included in  some of  my  Christmas DIY projects. However,  I also  include religious  Christmas  crafts  items  too. Christmas gifts to my family and friends  are a DIY gift and a store bought gift.    The month of October is usually when I start looking for ideas for my DIY gift s for Christmas.  I love to combine DIY gifts  of love and store  bought gifts for my friends  and family. I was searching online stores and reviewing craft videos. My craft must be pretty,  inexpensive  and require just a few steps.  I find  that d iscount stores have a great selection of seasonal craft making items. However, they must be purchased  as soon as they hit the  shelf. These  items sell out  quickly, so I   buy them before  the Christmas season  arrives.  Some stores don't  replenish seasonal items once they are sold out.
