SENIOR LADY: ST. PATRICK DECOR: REPURPOSE #2

Image
I was happy with the results of my first St. Patrick's  Day craft. I discovered that I had plenty of yellow and  green unused items. I can do a second St. Patrick's Day craft. I researched crafts done using the four leaf clover.  I saw a few clover crafts, but, none of  them peaked my interest.  The religious three and four leaf designs had Bible words and phrases. My supply of letter stickers were sparse. My letter stencils were old and outdated.   Most of the  craft stores hadn't fully  restocked their stationery l etter supplies. The  holiday Crafters must have bought a lot of letter stickers. Maybe I could draw religious symbols and make templates. ST. SENIOR LADY: ST. PATRICK DECOR REPURPOSE!

Years ago, I didn't celebrate St. Patrick's  Day.  Some of my co-workers loved this holiday. The day after St. Patrick's Day , they were sick from too much green beer and Irish appetizers. I wasn't impressed with   this type of celebration.  Recently, I saw documentary   about St. Patrick's Day.  The original celebration was   religious. I was glad to  hear this. I will start doing   religious decor for St.  Patrick's Day from now on. I decided to check my unused craft supplies. I figured I might have some green and yellow colored items. There were enough supplies to use for St. Patrick's Day. ST. SENIOR LADY: VALENTINE'S DAY HEART PROJECT!

Image
I've been creating  crafts for several years. I loved  watching the craft shows on public broadcasting channels.  The current craft trends were featured  each month.  I made my shopping list during the week after my kids were in bed. My shopping trip was done at  Thrift and  Craft stores each  month.  I    enrolled my boys in the weekend Kids'  Craft Classes.  I   bought most of my craft supplies  while they were i n class. I have been creating crafts using hearts often. The challenge is embellishing them with new design ideas.  I can usually get inspired  after  I view several magazines, craft tv,  and online  videos.   There is no need to   wai t for holiday V alentine's Day to create heart  crafts.  I add  hearts of various colors, sizes,  and  designs   to clothes, mugs, and planters  throughout  the  year. Here ...
