Christmas is still my favorite holiday. I began making my gift ideas

list for my family in October. My sons started making their wish list

too. They were easy to buy for. I knew they were not getting the twenty outrageous toys on that list!



My husband's gift was a challenge each year. My goal was to get him a better gift than the previous year. I think the leather jacket is still his favorite gift from me. He said the ladies at his job thought he looked nice in it. Imagine that!



Gifts for men are challenge for most women. The same old neck tie and fishing pole can get boring. Remember the soap on the rope that men used to get at Christmas?

  I didn't want to acknowledge that I was  getting older.I got offended when store clerks said, Yes ma'am".  I realized that age 40 was old to most young people. SPANISH LLADRO ANGEL FIGURINES SENIOR MOMENT COLLECTIBLES (SMC) I began collecting angels after  I saw an article in the guide post  magazine. The lady had a picture of her angel collection on the first page. I thought this was a great  hobby. Now I have three curio cabinets full of angels. My husband realized I was  a serious about my angel collection. He began buying me beautiful angels for my Christmas present.  He even  bought me the curio cabinets to put them in.  I even had friends who collected  frogs, elephants, penguins, and sock monkeys. We helped each  other hunt for collectibles.Some of them bought me angels when  they traveled overseas. I have   beautiful angels from Africa and Hawaii because of my traveling friends. I love wearing jeans. They are  more enjoyable when they fit well. They flatter your figure. I am very envious when I see  a classy senior lady looking good in her denim outfit. I  have seen that crisp white  shirt, flattering jeans and a nice pair of boots. I was inspired to put more effort  into my attire after I saw a jeans show on Rachel Ray show.  Her guest explained that you have to find the correct jeans for your  body type.  I know they make  skinny jeans to fit every woman, but I must pass on this style.
