YOU WORE THAT TO CHURCH?!

I worked with a sweet lady who was
always tastefully dressed. I commented
on her outfit one day. She said that she dresses for the Lord!  She said. " I can't 
go wrong if I consider Him when I get dressed."

I've seen enough! I'm appalled at the clothes women are wearing to church 
these days. These women aren't setting
a good example for their daughters or young girls. My friend just called me. 
She was very upset. She attended a
funeral and some of the girls wore
shorts and tank tops! 

 This time men deserve a thumbs up for dressing decently when they attend church!  I know times have changed.
Most people dress casual to most events now.  But wearing the grunge look and 
mini dresses are not  appropriate for church!

I realize some people no longer fear 
the Lord  or give a hoot what He thinks! 
If people can honor a dress code at work, can't they do the same for church! There
are a few churches where women still wear fancy suits and  hats! I prefer to wear business casual to church. I do wear casual clothes & jeans to Bible Study and church meetings. 

There are clothes some women are wearing to church that they wouldn't dare wear
to their jobs! I'm not the fashion police but, I do know what is tasteful!

BUT NOT AT CHURCH! PLUNGING NECKLINE
FAUX PADS!







































THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT YOUR BEHIND WILL BE EXPOSED WHEN SITTING ON THE CHURCH PEW!

Ah, the Sixties, when the ponytail was a style that all of us wore often.The ponytail has been updated and revamped many times. RAINWATER MAKES IT GROW!

I have been gardening for over 20 years. I'll admit I learned some secrets through trial and error. My neighbor had a large garden in his backyard. Some years he had a very good yield. He would muddle over why his yield each year wasn't  consistent. I finally figured out why his yield  was inconsistent. God's rainwater had to be plentiful in order for me to have a great yield  in my flower and vegetable garden. My yield was poor when there was a summer drought. No amount of city water from my garden  hose improved my yield. Organic soil and organic fertilizer didn't guarantee that I would have a bounty of flowers and vegetables. The combination of lots of  rain water, organic soil and organic  fertilizer boosted my yield. My state hasn't experienced a  drought  this summer. SUMMER DRESSES 4 SENIOR LADIES # 1

  I used to laugh at my mother when she said that dresses were cooler than shorts in the summer. She has gotten the last laugh a lot lately. I guess my mother does know best sometimes. She was right. A dress was cooler to me, especially during a hot flash!! I do not wear sleeveless dresses in the summer without a cover-up.I am like most senior women. I don't like to show my arms.  I have invested in lace shawls, sheer shirts, and linen jackets to use as my cover-ups.
