INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut out printed template (using tree
template for demonstration). I pinned
tree on back/reverse side of fabric. Used
black, thin print Sharpie to draw tree on
fabric. I cut out three trees for my plus
sized tee shirt. One red buffalo print tree,
one green buffalo print tree, one blue buffalo
print tree= 3 cut outs.
I pinned each tree in front middle area of
my shirt (in straight row). Used glue gun
to secure trees on shirt. I embellished each
tree with clear gem stickers around the edges.
Reinforced gems with dot of glue.
Note:
** Brand name tee shirts available for
discount prices @ Discount Stores.
** Used 30 pieces count, small white faux flowers, snowflakes out of stock.
** I used same instructions for each tee
shirt. I chose Christmas fabric which
matched color of the shirt. Three pieces
were cut out from one template. For
example, three bells cut out from one
bell template. Endless templates offered
free online. Drawings simple to intricate.
** Christmas DIY tees were inexpensive to
create; each shirt costs about $15.
** Straight pens unnecessary, to hold
template in place, if skills allow
you to trace template easily.
** Design pieces can be hand sewn
on shirt, if desired. Adding gems
around pieces are optional. Tiny
buttons, beads, faux snow flakes,
mini pom pom trim, & ribbons
can be used for decorations.
