I was glad it was time for, Back -To-School 

sales. The local stores have this sale at end

 of the summer seasons. I will be able to 

replenish my office supplies. I need to have

 them on hand for my next craft project.

I also need to get new loose ring notebooks.

I use them for taking notes in my classes. 

They are available at bargain prices during

 school day sales. There were no purple

notebooks available at my local stores.

I'll keep looking for purple books when

 I go to the mall. I did settle for a couple

of notebooks with a few mauve colored

( bluish purple ) hearts and strawberries.

WEEK 2 

I had just purchased a new bedroom dresser.

The top of it was bare because I didn't have

any fancy items to display on it.  I made my

weekly stop at a Dollar Store. Some new 

arrivals had just been placed on display.

The front of the store featured a lot of 

purple collectibles.  I was intrigued by

the variety of glass bottles on the shelf.

I bought a few of them since they looked 

elegant.  Now, the top of my dresser

would look nice.

Our church have their annual Woman's 

Day on the third weekend in July. The

women  meet so they can vote on a 

color theme for the church decorations.

This includes the flowers and table cloths.

The women wear white outfits and pretty

corsages. The flowers in the corsages are 

usually the color of the church decor.

This year the color theme is my fave,

shades of purple. 

The Women's Day Prayer Breakfast held 

on Saturday, had the tables adorned with 

purple floral arrangements. The programs

 had info on both sides. The front featured 

the Order Of Service and the back featured

a Purse Game. Women at the breakfast had

 fun playing the Purse Game. They searched 

in their purses for the items on the list. One

 woman had all of the items on the list! She

 was teased and told to clean out her purse.

Purple items for week 4 will be featured 

soon. The color purple has become more

popular. Purple items are everywhere.

I must overcome urges to buy them all.
