WEEK 1: PURPLE OFFICE SUPPLIES: MAGNETIC "TO DO LIST" PADS: COLORS:   LAVENDER, PURPLE PRINT BORDER PENCIL CASE: COLOR: PURPLE FANCY INK PENS:COLORS:  GLITTERY LAVENDER I was glad it was time for, Back -To-School  sales. The local stores have this sale  at end  of the summer seasons.  I will be able to  replenish  my office supplies.  I need to  have  them  on hand for my next craft project. I also need to get new loose ring note books. I use them  for taking notes in my classes.  They are available at bargain prices during  school day sales. There were no purple notebooks available at my local stores. I'll keep looking for purple books when  I go to the mall. I did settle for a couple of notebooks with a few mauve colored ( bluish purple ) hearts and strawberries. WEEK 2  I had just purchased a new bedroom dresser. The top of it was bare because I didn't have any fancy items to display on it....

The Hostas, Canna Lilies, Yellow Day Lilies are perennials.  I let Nature provide  water  and nutrients to these plants.  Unfortunately,  these plants turn an ugly  brown color by the  time the  first frost hits  them. This brown  foliage will be  cut down  near the roots of each  plant.  This debris  will be   carried away so the   yard won't look  too  bad during winter months. CHOKER PENDANT INSPIRED BY: EARRINGS I was doing my weekly visit to the Pinterest  website when I saw this cute image of cats on a pair of earrings. It looked like a simple hand drawing of five colorful cats.  I liked  these  earrings very much. However, I prefer  dogs  rather than cats. I was inspired to see if  I  could make similar earrings. My earrings would have hand drawn images of five colorful dogs  on them. I gathered the materials for  this project.  I realized that I would need to draw, color, and cut out images  of ten dogs! I don't like crafts that require with several  steps. They flare up my arthritic hands. I decided to draw four dogs. I'll add them to a teardrop pendant charm  on a  choker cord.   My Mom and I were discussing what to give each other for Mother's Day.  She hates it, if we give each other money. My Mom thinks were are exchanging money. She thinks that I am giving her the same money that she gave me! She's ninety  years old and I can't convince her this is untrue! Recently, Mom began wearing turban caps when we go to run errands. She could only find them in navy and black. I was able to find these turbans in several colors. I purchased a package of 10 colored turbans. This is going to be one of her Mother's Day gifts. I will not be accused of exchanging money this time! My Mom offered me money so I could buy my own Mother's Day gift. I agreed with this. I told her I wanted to  buy me a bouquet  of some type of purple  flowers. The big box  store didn't have  floral arrangements.   I love to decorate wooden crosses. I purchased seven inch crosses five years ago. I started decorating them in September, so that I would be finished in December. I included  crosses  with my Christmas gifts.  I decided to keep wooden crosses on hand. Unfortunately, I didn't purchase crosses when I saw them at my local dollar store last year. This year, there hasn't been any wooden  crosses in stock.   The  online sites I visited  had plenty of three, five,  nine, and twelve inch wooden  crosses.  I chose  to buy a pack of twelve,  five-inch  wooden  crosses.  I completely forgot about the crosses.    I recently found them tucked under  some fabric.  I decided to decorate the crosses  for Mother's Day  gifts.   2023 PAINTED FLAMINGO DISPLAY  I love to look at the front  yard decorations, in neighborhoods.  I was traveling in a small  town called Turkey. One front yard   had  pots  of flowers in two  colorful vintage metal  chairs.  My Mom and  I thought this was a great idea. We  couldn't  wait to get home.   LIGHT BLUE DOLLAR STORE BUCKETS:  STICK FIRE CACTUS PLANTS My husband grew up in the country.  I had no idea that he would want a garden when we moved into our new home.  I  thought living in the city would make him abandon his desire for farming activities. We had been in our house for a year. I came home  from  work one day, and noticed that a lot of the grass  in  our back yard was missing. He had borrowed a neighbor's tiller, so he could " break up"  the  ground. He had sectioned off  a 5 feet section of our back yard. I let him know that this was his project.
