SENIOR LADY: BARGAIN FINDER!
I became a bargain hunter by accident. A friend of
mine asked me to go to lunch with her. She took me
to the Thrift Store. I said that this didn't look like
a fast food place. This is where she came when she
needed a cheap new outfit. My friend was a true
Fashionista. All her clothes looked beautiful and
expensive. I thanked her for sharing her secret.
She trained me well. We went bargain hunting
once a month.
This store received most of their items from wealthy
people who were moving or redecorating. They also
had new items that were close-outs and overstocks.
I started shopping at Thrift Stores on the weekend.
Being retired has been a gift to me. I find better
bargains during the week and no crowds.
This week, I was planning to look for a fancy dinner
plate to eat on during dinner. My plans changed when
I saw the Easter items featured on tables at the front of
the store. The items below are the bargains I found:
2 WOOD EASTER SIGNS( 50 CENTS)
EASTER GRASS (25 CENTS)
EASTER JAR ( 50 CENTS)
CERAMIC EASTER EGG MUSIC BOX ( $1.00)
5 PACK LAVENDER EGGS WITH PEARLS
(WAS $7.99, @ $1.00)
