JAMES 1:22-24

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.  

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;  

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

I have been gardening for over 20 years. I'll admit I learned some secrets through trial and error. My neighbor had a large garden in his backyard. Some years he had a very good yield. He would muddle over why his yield each year wasn't  consistent. I finally figured out why his yield  was inconsistent. God's rainwater had to be plentiful in order for me to have a great yield  in my flower and vegetable garden. My yield was poor when there was a summer drought. No amount of city water from my garden  hose improved my yield. Organic soil and organic fertilizer didn't guarantee that I would have a bounty of flowers and vegetables. The combination of lots of  rain water, organic soil and organic  fertilizer boosted my yield. My state hasn't experienced a  drought  this summer. I love wearing jeans. They are  more enjoyable when they fit well. They flatter your figure. I am very envious when I see  a classy senior lady looking good in her denim outfit. I  have seen that crisp white  shirt, flattering jeans and a nice pair of boots. I was inspired to put more effort  into my attire after I saw a jeans show on Rachel Ray show.  Her guest explained that you have to find the correct jeans for your  body type.  I know they make  skinny jeans to fit every woman, but I must pass on this style. I have seen some denim styles that  I have tried to copy. They are classy and flattering. Here are some of the styles:

EASTER. BLESSED PURPLE

The Bible tells us that the color  purple represents royalty.During Easter many churches build large crosses with purple cloth draped  over them.  Jesus is the King of  Kings, so it is appropriate for to show purple majesty.  The Bible  book of Acts 16 tells us about purple cloth  being  sold by a  woman named Lydia.The book of Proverbs 31 says, "she wears clothing made of linen and purple.
