SENIOR LADY: FLORAL CRAFTS #2

I  visited my local Dollar Store last month. I was looking

for July 4th decor. There wasn't a lot of items available

at that time.  I went back to two weeks ago and there

were lots of  July 4th decor displays on hand.  This store

had plenty of white and blue flowers available this time.

I bought several patriotic flowers, picks, white planters.

I was on a creative vibe after my first floral craft. This

time I wanted to use a different shade of blue flowers.

I noticed that the trend had switched from traditional

dark navy blue in patriotic crafts. I have seen shades

of  blue ranging from light to medium blue. Roses

range in different sizes now. Baby's Breath is also

available in colors other than white. Computer

generated color mixing offer complex color variety

for faux flowers.  Here is the details for my second

 floral project:

JULY 4TH FLORAL BOUQUET #2

NEED:

7 Inch Red Glass Pot Belly Vase

(1) Light Blue Faux Agapanthus Stem

(1) Light Blue Faux Baby's Breath Stem

(1) White Faux Rose Stem

(1) Red Faux Mum Stem

(1) Patriotic Bow:

Red, White, & Royal Blue :

5 Inch x 7 Inch

INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove florist tags.  Arrange your Patriotic flowers
in the vase. I removed the navy blue flower since it
didn't match the bow.  Hot glue the Patriotic bow in
the center of the vase.

The Patriotic bow which included a shade

of medium baby blue really enhanced this

floral bouquet.  I'm glad the bows came

in a set of two. I can use the other bow in

another bouquet with light blue flowers.

TIPS:

**A clear glass vase can also be used.

**Other varieties of light blue flowers ok.

**Clear, white, blue, and/or red glass marbles

can be added to bottom of the vase to enhance

the bouquet.
