SENIOR LADY: JULY 4TH CRAFTS! #4

My last year's July 4th craft projects were done

with paper. I didn't have enough time to devote

to elaborate projects. I researched online videos

and seasonal catalogs for ideas.  These crafts got

damaged in the storage room.  I was looking over

my seasonal craft supplies. I discovered some left

over wire wreaths I had on hand.  Wire wreath

forms are not my favorite. Most of these are

wrapped with mesh. I dislike working with

mesh material. I usually find other materials

for my wire wreaths.  Here are the details for

 my wire wreath project:

NEED:

14 Inch Wire Wreath
Rectangle, 54 Inch x 108 Inch

Tools:
Scissors
Glue Gun with Glue Sticks

INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove tags from wreath. Remove table cover
from the bag. Open up table cover so that the
red stripes are facing each other. ( See image
below) Use scissors to separate the two rows
of  red & white stripes. Cut red & white stripes from each end of the table cover.

Use scissors to cut the red stripes from the blue stars.
Fold the red stripes in half to form a long strip.

Wrap the red & white strip around the wire wreath. Secure the ends with a dot of glue. DON'T USE TOO MUCH HOT GLUE, IT'LL MELT THE TABLE COVER!

Cut the blue stars from the white border. Fold the blue stars in half to form a long strip.  At the end of the red  & white stripes, begin wrapping the blue stripes around the wreath. Secure the ends with a dot of glue. Fold the
white border in half to form a long strip. At the end of the blue stars, start wrapping the white strip around
the wreath. The finished wreath should have red & white stripes, blue stars, and white.

Open the pack of Patriotic Star Picks. Remove two
red picks. Pry the red stars loose from the stick/pick.
Glue the stars onto the white section of the wreath.

Cut a 4 inch by 14 inch  strip off the end of the table
cover. Make a wreath hanger:  Fold strip in half &
glue it to back of the wreath in the center area.

I enjoyed making this July 4th Wreath. I had purchased
two packs of the Patriotic Table Covers from my local Dollar Store. I had planned to cover my BBQ table with
them. Suddenly, I realized I could use the Patriotic
Table Cover on my wire wreath.   The wreath looked
great with the cut up strips from the table cover.

TIPS:

**I used a matte finish Patriotic vinyl table
cover. There is also a glitter finish Patriotic
Table Cover available. It would look great
on a wreath too.

**Packs of mini foam Patriotic colored
stars are available. These could also
embellish the wreath.
