SENIOR LADY: REMEMBERING DAD PROJECT!
When me and my friends were teenagers,
we played the, "when I get married" game.
I declared that I wanted to be a Mom who
had all boys. The Lord honored my request.
I didn't realize at the time, what dilemmas
I would encounter. My front yard had no
grass. My sons and the neighbors' boys
played football every afternoon. Sunday
afternoons were noisy because the guys
screamed with each touchdown. I hung
out on Saturdays at fishing ponds and
lakes. My car smelled like a fruit basket.
After the soccer games, my sons discarded
their empty juice boxes on the back seat.
Father's Day is coming soon. I wanted to
forego the neck tie and gift cards. I was
researching online and I saw personal
journals and scrapbooks on sale. I had
already given a mini scrapbook with
childhood, high school, and adult
pictures for Father's Day a few years
ago. He enjoyed looking at the old
family photos.
My husband and my sons loved Comedy
movies and stand up Comedy shows on
T. V. Maybe I could create a booklet with
funny pictures or pages with jokes inside.
This would be a gag gift included expensive
gifts in his Father's Day Gift Bag. Here
are the details for my project:

I decided to add pun phrases and funny
pictures that I created myself. I used mechanical
pencil when I was composing puns and drawing
pictures. I enhanced my pictures and letters
with fine and medium point black markers
after I was satisfied with my composition.
Here are some pages from my mini, Father's
Day Notebook:
Front Cover
Content Inside:
I was able to think of puns after two cups of
coffee. I guess all that caffeine helped me
come up the phrases. Some of the puns were
based on my husband's past times. I did rough
drafts of artwork that I thought would enhance
the pun phrases.
